The Big Four Commodities Export From Indonesia

The list of export commodities from Indonesia are : 

1. Rubber

Rubber is a commodity product that is used in many equipment throughout the world, ranging from industrial equipment to household appliances. There are two types of rubber that are widely known, namely natural rubber made from rubber tree sap, and synthetic rubber made from crude oil.
We need to be proud because Indonesia is the second rubber producer in the world. Indonesia succeeded in producing 3,200,000 tons of rubber in 2014.
Rubber producing regions in Indonesia are South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Riau, Jambi and West Kalimantan. In 2015 rubber plantations in Indonesia even reached 3.65 hectares. The five countries that import rubber from Indonesia are the United States, China, Japan, Singapore, and Brazil.

2. Industrial textile

The textile industry in Indonesia is divided into three sectors: namely the upstream sector, the middle sector and the downstream sector. The manufacture of fiber and spinning is found in the upstream sector. Then the middle sector includes spinning, weaving and dyeing / finishing.

3. Palm Oil

The palm oil produced in Indonesia is a small portion consumed domestically as a raw material in the manufacture of cooking oil, oleochemicals, soap, margarine, and most of the others exported in the form of palm oil or Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO).Of the total palm oil produced, CPO exports in 2010 amounted to 50%, while Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) reached 85% of the total palm oil produced by Indonesia.

Oil palm recipient countries from Indonesia are; Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, China, Germany, Singapore, North Korea, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Taiwan, Japan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, France, the Philippines, the United States, Mexico.

4. Cocoa

Cocoa Beans are the basic ingredients for making chocolate and other food ingredients. The cocoa sector contributes greatly to the economy in Indonesia. The Indonesian state also succeeded in becoming the third largest cocoa producer in the world.

The mainly cocoa-producing areas in Indonesia are Salatiga, Central Java.
Cocoa powder that will be exported or consumed by the people of Indonesia must comply with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), and must include specific quality standards, sampling and testing methods, product cleanliness, packaging and labeling. The value of cocoa exports even reached USD 1,224.5
